DIALux evo does not require registration to download. However, creating a free user account allows you to access saved projects online, receive update notifications, and download extra manufacturer luminaire data. You can skip registration and download as a guest.

The installer may prompt you to install Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributables or DirectX – these are necessary. Click “Yes” or “Install.” DIALux evo does not require registration to download
The installer will first ask for the installation language. Select your preferred language for the setup process (not the software language – that can be changed later). Read and accept the End User License Agreement (EULA)
The website will automatically suggest the latest stable version. Ensure you select the Windows version (no native macOS version exists; Mac users need Boot Camp or a virtual machine). There is also an option to download additional content packages (luminaire data, textures, etc.) – it is recommended to get these as well.
