There is no single “best” month for all of Malaysia. Instead, you must plan around the region you intend to visit. The east coast islands have a narrow window (April–September), while the west coast cities are more forgiving year-round but require tolerance for sudden, heavy downpours. Always check the real-time monsoon forecast before booking island or boat travel.
